Tri-Sector Associates (TSA) and T-Pride Pte. Ltd. (TPPL) are now officially part of the Temasek Trust ecosystem with the shared purpose of building better for every generation. This is a key milestone which strengthens our capabilities in innovative funding models, pandemic preparedness and resilience.
TSA: Philanthropic Financing Innovation to Scale Impact
TSA, an end-to-end impact firm specialising in creating effective public-private-people partnerships, has been instrumental in helping Asian funders maximise the impact of their giving through innovative models, crowding in ground-up solutions, and tying funding to outcomes.
They have supported ground-up organisations, advised on blended finance models, and executed cross-sector Pay for Success projects such as the Family Empowerment Programme (FEP), an income stability programme, with AWWA – one of Singapore’s largest multi-service social service agencies – supported by Standard Chartered Singapore and Temasek Trust.
TSA’s purpose and work are aligned with Temasek Trust’s efforts to forge new pathways in philanthropy and impact investing with the aim of promoting catalytic philanthropy as a force for good.

TPPL: Capacity-Building for Pandemic Preparedness
TPPL was established by Temasek on 1 November 2020 to operationalise COVID-19 response initiatives. Working alongside Temasek and Temasek Foundation, TPPL contributed significantly to Singapore's fight against the pandemic, supporting key initiatives such as the nationwide distribution of hand sanitisers and masks, deployment of TraceTogether tokens to dormitory workers, and donation of oxygen concentrators to needy beneficiaries overseas.
On 1 April 2023, TPPL was transferred to Temasek Trust and became our first Social Economic Enterprise Development portfolio company.
TPPL is now focused on developing a peacetime strategy that seeks to contribute both commercially and socially to build capacity and prepare Singapore for future pandemics.
TPPL joining the Temasek Trust ecosystem is aligned with our shared goal to support communities in pandemic preparedness and resilience. TPPL's valuable operational experience, capabilities and assets complement Temasek Foundation’s efforts to build emergency capabilities and capacities.
We will collaborate with TPPL on building TPPL’s capacity, enhancing complementarity and synergies with other Temasek Trust ecosystem entities, and creating a sustainable business model that contributes commercially while ensuring pandemic preparedness and resilience.
Together, we will work towards a more resilient and better-prepared society and explore the exciting opportunities that await our growing Temasek Trust Ecosystem.
